Ravenwood in Government Camp, OR on Mt. Hood Description: Ravenwood Cabin on Mt Hood, right in the Center of Government Camp. This mountain house is located in the center of Mt. Hood's ski area. You can walk to Ski Bowl and Summit Ski areas, or take a short drive to Mt. Hood Meadows or Timberline. Ravenwood cabin is located on the Government Camp Business Loop road just across the street from the Village Grocery Store. The cabin's
 stone fireplace and all wood interior with open beam ceilings, is warm and comfortable. The master bedroom, king size bed is just right for a couple. Bring your friends and use the eleven beds to sleep up to eighteen people. The cabin has a basement full of firewood you may use, or let the furnace keep you warm. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen, just bring your food and make yourself at home. Kids are welcome, (pets are not) there are plenty of sliding hills very close and on the property. View Mt. Hood from the front windows and relax with a hot drink. Crowsnest: For extra large groups Ravenwood Cabin has a mother-in-law apartment downstairs called the 'Crowsnest' For an extra fee the 'Crowsnest' may be rented giving you another bathroom, full kitchen and six more sleeping spots. Sorry the Crowsnest is not rented separately.
Amenities: Bedrooms, 3 with 6 double beds, 4 twin beds (bunks), 1 king size bed, TV: Cable or VCR/dvd, in the basement is a foosball table and darts, Baths: 1.5 with Shower Great Room: Stone fireplace, 3 sofas, game table, 2 cedar picnic tables with benches. (eleven feet of table) Parking: Plowed driveway, or park as many vehicles as you want along the road. Kitchen: Dishes and cookware for 16+, microwave, dishwasher, Belgian waffle iron, Mr. Coffee, lots of counter space. The 'Crowsnest Apt. has 2 bunks and 2 futons, kitchen/dining and bathroom. Ravenwood Cabin is in the center of Government Camp so all the businesses are just a few minute walk, restaurants (4), ski shops (2), taverns/lounges (3), grocery store (3). Gas station (1). Liquor store (yes)
Area: Ski Bowl ski area is only a short walk. Timberline is 6 miles. Mt Hood Meadows is about 12 miles. Summit sled/ski beginner area is also just a quick walk. There are cross country ski and snow shoe trails through out Government Camp. In the summer these are hiking trails. Please note:
In order to offer low prices for a large house, Ravenwood does not provide maid service or charge for cleaning. All guests are expected to leave Ravenwood clean and ready for next guest. We provide cleaning supplies, vacuum etc. and rely on each guest to treat Ravenwood as they would their own home.
Please be aware that linens are not supplied, all beds have a bottom sheet and pillow only, everyone needs to bring their own sleeping bag or blanket, and towels.
